• Oguz Urhan defended his thesis and graduated with an M.S.
• We completed the wood stiffness study of young Douglas-fir and western hemlock and submitted a manuscript for publication.
• We completed the miniaturized seed orchard study and submitted a manuscript for publication.
• We completed the stem form analyses and submitted a manuscript for publication.
• We began the western white pine/Douglas-fir SNP marker study (CAFS)
• We began working with Keith Jayawickrama and the Northwest Advanced Renewables Alliance (NARA) to (1) develop a next-generation SNP genotyping chip for Douglas-fir and (2) test genomic selection.
